Slot missions can be a great method to obtain weapons, equipment and much more. But they're also difficult to do.

Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that allows you to carry pistols into the course of. Some players make use of it to attain certain goals, particularly those who are aiming for Suit Only. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes that hide small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that allows players to discover different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. These options for planning expand as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This gives players the ability to create the perfect mission for each difficulty.

Gear Slot

In the beginning of the game, players will find their gear slots fill up, leading to the dreaded "Your Gear Entertaining slots are Full" message that prevents Max from picking new equipment until old items are cleared or a larger space is obtained. The solution to this problem is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for completing challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed it could take a long time to acquire the most inventory multi-line slots in the game.

Each player has up to five different types of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) is a part of one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as the grouping of Grenades) can only use one Gear Slot.

Agency Pickups

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations let you keep items that aren't suitable in your weapon or gear slot, and get them back later.

These pick-ups can be useful if your mission requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you have a weapon on you that could raise suspicion. But, you are only able to hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To begin these missions simply talk to the agency receptionist and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the mission marker be sure to identify a group upon arrival.
