The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring guns into the course of. Some players use this to achieve certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Some players use the extra pistol to bridge a gap. If you are using this slot, it's important to keep in mind that you'll have to click the corresponding pistol category button, like the alternate slot 2 for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. Being able to have Major Expedition and Adept Rider on makes it simpler. This combo increases the damage tick every 10 seconds from the Concealed Weapon in the event that it is slotted.

The smuggled items slot is a great feature that allows players to bring weapons and other tools into the game, but it can be improved. It's currently designed as a pistol which makes it difficult to distinguish the smuggled item slot from other interactive slots for gear.

Mission planning is an option in missions that are episodic. It lets players unlock different starting locations, smuggled objects, and gear slots prior to stepping into the map. These planning options increase as players progress through challenges and unlock higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players the ability to create the perfect mission for each task.

Gear Slot

The gear slots will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, leading to the dreaded message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message will prevent Max to select new equipment until the old ones are removed or a larger space is obtained. The solution is the Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials which give players more inventory space in exchange for the completion of challenge missions. Since a lot of these challenges can be overlooked and are scattered around the world, it may take some time to obtain the most inventory slots in the game.

Each player can have up to five different types of gear in their five Gear top-rated online slots. They must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each individual gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same type) only has one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you progress through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock different agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store items that do not fit into your slot for gear or weapon and then retrieve it later.

These pickups are useful when your task requires you to pass through a frisk, or if you carry a weapon with you that could raise suspicion. You can only hide one item per game at a pickup location for agencies.

This DLC also adds new security and asset protection contracts to the agency. To begin these missions, simply contact the receptionist of the agency and stock up on armor and snacks. Once you've reached the marker for your mission you can identify a crowd at the time you arrive.
