2. Roborock S7 maxV Ultra
Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent robot with a surprising array of features for automation. It is available in three models including the standard S7, the S7 MaxV Plus, and the S7 MaxV Ultra. The S7 MaxV Ultra is the only model with an Empty Wash Fillet Dock (or an alternate Auto-Empty Dock). These docks allow the robot to return to its base and empty the debris it has collected in a dust bag, or reservoir, empty the dirty water tank, and wash its mopping pads.

With the companion app you can program the S7 to run a cleaning cycle in accordance with your schedule. You can choose a cleaning mode, such as automatic or eco, and the day, week or even a time. You can also decide whether the robot will cease operation if its power is exhausted or when it comes across an obstruction.

This robotic mop and vacuum combination is a rare find that does both jobs well. iRobot's Combo J7+ comes with all the smarts of its j7 counterpart, including LiDAR mapping and self-emptying, however, it also comes with additional features for mopping and vacuuming.
The j7+ uses the latest acoustic sensor to detect the type of floor, so that it can clean or mop the area on its first pass. This information can also be used to prioritize cleaning rooms that have carpets and rugs versus those with hard flooring.
Like most robotic vacuums, the j7+ is surprisingly quiet when running and it's quieter when mopping. The maximum reading of 64db on our decibel meter is similar to office chatter.
You can easily set up a cleaning schedule and change the way that dust is cleaned when the canister fills. The j7+ can be controlled with voice assistants (Alexa, Google Assistant, etc.) The app allows you to create and view maps in your home.
In our tests, the j7+ performed admirably on carpeted and hard floors, and it cleaned up most of the dirt we tossed at it. It isn't able to deal dealing with pet hair, large debris and sand. But it is able to clean them with a little more effort. It has good navigational abilities and two cliff sensors that keep it from falling down the stairs or getting stuck on furniture legs.
The J7+ has a few small flaws, namely that it could get stuck on cords or rugs and doesn't always switch off the mopping function once it's finished vacuuming. This is a fantastic model that ticks all the boxes.
