It hasn't made as much of an impact on the industry as other grocery delivery services such as Instacart or Amazon Fresh. But the 28-year veteran of the battle for online grocery delivery is trying to increase its competitiveness by expanding its offerings on e-commerce. It recently launched a brand new mobile shopping experience that is based on its exclusive PRISM platform on its own sites, and also the sites of its parent company, Ahold Delhaize USA.
